Heritage Place

Officially opened in 1994, Heritage Place features 80 affordable, accessible apartments, (70 one-bedroom and 10 two-bedrooms,) in which seniors can benefit from supportive housing. Services include a meal plan where nutritious home cooked meals are offered in a pleasant dining room setting, housekeeping, and laundry services, therapeutic bathing assistance, an emergency alert system, a convenience store, recreational programs and bus outings. The Residents served by Heritage Place can enjoy the security, independence and support in a community setting without the worry of living alone.

In addition to rental income, funding for Heritage Place is provided through the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care and the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing. Apartments accommodate single or double occupancy with two bedroom apartments exclusively accepting double occupancy at market rent. Forty of the one bedroom apartments are eligible for rent geared to income subsidy for those seniors that qualify.
