Our Residents

The Home is a 162 bed long-term care facility that is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Established in Barrie in 1940, the Home has an excellent reputation as a caring provider to the frail elderly who may have a number of chronic conditions or suffer from some degree of cognitive impairment or dementia. We offer private or semi-private rooms, respite care, a secured special care unit and palliative care. A hair salon, tuck shop, worship centre, auditorium, greenhouse and central outdoor garden courtyard also enhance the living environment.
